Who are we?
You are bigger than your wounds.
Aligning the past and future into the ever present now where our wounds undergo a metamorphose into a foundation of strengths, gifts, and talents.
Love illuminates that we are all in this together.
Activating access to graceful, elegant, and simple change in relating to source. Weaving warmth, care, and nurture within community.
As founders and facilitators of Heart Source (formally the Intimacy Forum), Tahil (pronounced taa-heel’) Gesyuk and Viviana Lahrs teach the essential keys to creating extraordinary relationships that can profoundly affect your life and our world in loving, meaningful ways.
In just four (4) short years the Heart Source has already positively touched the lives of more than 1500 people.
In addition, a very large percentage of graduates of our personal sessions and workshops whom Tahil and Viviana have kept in touch with report their relationships have noticeably improved.
Also, in just two years the Heart Source has trained and certified more than 20 relationship and intimacy coaches.
Why has Heart Source been so successful?
- First, we model the behavior we teach so you “learn” at a deeper level
- We look at relationships and people holistically, responding to and addressing the need of the mind, body and spirit
- You learn and practice a range of potent exercises born out of some of the best ancient and modern modalities (including Yoga, Tai Chi, Tantra, psycho-somatic exercises, NLP Marin, and a plethora of modern counseling and compassionate communication styles, and more! )
- We customize each session’s curriculum of processes according to what you need
- By introducing you to custom processes and exercises, which you then practice, we help you integrate new understanding, skills and tools and turn them into new behaviors
- You are part of a community of like-minded people who support you in your growth while we teach you how to build and access your own ongoing support base
In 2010, cherishing the love, simplicity and authenticity they have with each other, Tahil and Viviana co-founded the Intimacy Forum. Their desire: to teach the powerful, shared values of their relationship so others might enjoy similar healthy, fulfilling connections.
Their first offering was “Human Connection Circles,” an event in which people could gather, learn and then connect by relating with other people in deeper, more authentic and more nurturing ways.
As Human Connection Circles evolved into “Affection and Connection Circles” their community continued to expand. They started offering monthly circles and day-long workshops.
Soon Viviana and Tahil were offering offsite workshops at Burning Man and Earthdance Festival. Then they added Bay Area holistic healing events and a special guest workshop at the S-Factor Retreat.
Gradually the Intimacy Forum began to take its place as the “go-to” organization where people could learn—and be totally supported in—bringing more affection and connection into their lives.
In 2012 Intimacy Forum launched the “Relationship and Intimacy Coaches Training.” In just two years it produced 20 Embodied Relationship Coaches.
In 2015 after offer offering workshops at the summer-time Ecstatic Now Festival, taking a partial sabbatical from group work and classes, Tahil and Viviana made the commitment to build their private coaching practice. They opened a new office space in North Berkeley and grew their practice by 400 %.
Today it’s 2016 Tahil and Viviana continue to coach individuals and couples who want to deepen their learning and growth. They model what they teach, personally providing one-on-one guidance. A new opportunity for their growth and a return to group work and classes arrived in front of Tahil and Viviana in the form of a beautiful workshop space in the same building where they offer coaching and with much excitement they took it! As of February 2016 they are now the founders of Heart Source, a Yoga and workshop center.
They also offer new trainings. While honoring their original vision of the Intimacy Forum, they also reflect the growth they have personally experienced and address the pulse of community’s needs now as Heart Source. A new name, a new space, a new resource to community and leadership.
